Operation Excursion (16 March - 19 March 1943) was a combined Commando operation that took place at the port of Farello. It was a combined effort to divert Imperial reinforcements from the town to allow Commandos to raid and destroy the port. The operation was carried out by the troops of the Special Parachute Service I that consisted of Rubrumians, Erebonians, Concordians, Estharian and Balambians, Dalmascans, and Ilarians. The operation was a key objective of the SOE in order to hinder the Imperial War Effort and dash further hopes of shipping Imperial weapons, prototypes, and even several documents and plans for the ambitious Plan AB.

The Allied ground forces were aided by Archadian partisans and mafioso led by Don Morano, who were instrumental in diverting Imperial forces from Farello. This allowed the Commandos to be inserted on the night of 18 March. The raid took an hour to complete before the commandos set off the explosives, destroying the port and submarine pens. The operation eventually forced the Imperials to construct and convert more civilian ports into submarine pens, especially with the demand of the Imperial High Command being more urgent.
