Emperor Airlines (Ōroran: Koutei Kōkūkaisha), colloquially referred to as Koutei, is an international airline and Ōrora's flag carrier. It is headquartered in Enkyo and has main hubs in Enkyo's Enkyo-Kisiwada International Airport as well as Togawa's Togawa International Airport. It is the parent company of many other smaller airlines and air transport services in Ōrora which serve as domestic carriers and cargo carriers.
Koutei was established in 1929 and became the national airline of Ōrora in 1954 as it quickly became the largest airline in Ōrora's post-war environment. After several decades of service and expansion, the airline became fully privatized by 1990. In 2000, Koutei bought Northern Airlines which later became known as Koutei Connection or Koutei Connect. Koutei is currently an official sponsor of the Ōroran National Football Team, SuperGT, and the Ōroran Olympic Team. Southern Airways, the second largest Ōroran airline, is Koutei's main competitor.
