The Imperial Family (皇室, Koshitsu), usually just referred to as the Koshitsu, comprises those members of extended family of the reigning Empress of Ōrora who undertake official and public duties. Other members of the Koshitsu perform ceremonial and social duties but have no role in the affairs of the government. The duties as an Empress are passed down the line to their eldest female children.
