Victor S. Arseid, 9th Viscount Arseid of Legram GEO GOH MP (20 August 1963) is an Erebonian statesman currently serving as the 38th Prime Minister of the Erebonian Empire.
Unlike most nobles, Arseid rules differently such that he often looks after his people and ensures their well-being is accounted for. Known for his ability in fencing, he often trains with a sword, believing in its honour in the battlefield. He is also recognised as one of Erebonia's foremost swordsman. He is curerntly the master of the Arseid Art of the Sword that had been passed down for 9 generations. He is also the current commander of the Arseid and Sutherland Highlanders of Erebonia, which is the Arseid Viscounty's primary defence force. In 2024, he was elected unanimously to lead the Erebonian Conservative Party following Regnitz decision not to run for leader and for Prime Minister. He won in the 2024 elections and was subsequently sworn in as Erebonia's 38th Prime Minister.
Early Life
Military Career
Personal Life
Victor is known for his sense of communalism, in which he often understands how the people under his rule are contented unlike most nobles. He also kept Arseid away from the influences of other nobles in Sutherland and Kreuzen from taking over the Arseid Viscounty. He often snobs at nobles who look down on their subjects, being that he credits his people for his success, believing that his land would not develop without them. The Arseid Viscounty during his rule became one of the fastest developing regions in the Erebonia next to Kongsberg.
Victor is the grandson of famous EWII general and leader, General Karl L.K. Arseid, in which Arseid took his inspirations from in ascending to military life and subsequently, ruling over the Arseid Viscounty. He is also the grandnephew of Maggie Arseid, the wife of famous EWII general, Field Marshal Daidoji Kitagawa, which in turn was the grandfather of Field Marshal Kiriya Kitagawa, making the two blood relatives as 2nd Cousins. Victor has since been particularly close with his cousin and often times, Kiriya would approach Victor to vouch for him across the Erebonian Government. His daughter, Laura S. Arseid is Kiriya's 2nd niece. He is also the godfather of Kiriya's 4 children Yamato, Naoto, Yukari, and Katsuragi Kitagawa, both of which were his 2nd nephews and nieces respectively.
