The economy of Littland is a highly developed social market economy. The most prominent stock exchange in Littland is Kaslund Stock Exchange.

Labour market

The Littish labour market is characterized by high union membership and collective agreement coverage (overenskomst) which started in 1913 under prime minister Torsten Einarsen. There are several securities available to unemployed workers as well as initiatives to get people jobs during times of high unemployment. This has contributed to a degree of economic flexibility. A large proportion of the working age population is active on the labour market in some capacity, a recent development following almost 15 years of economic stagnation. The unemployment rate is currently stable at 7.9% while youth unemployment is at 9.6% and falling. Despite there not being a national minimum wage, the average minimum wage is about 18.2$.
