Park Min-Ji (born 9th of March 2001) is a Malgravean singer and actor. Park Min-Ji first came to national prominence as a member of the group, Venus, however, they have also expanded into acting with their most recent drama being Hello, Me? where they acted alongside Amelia Ricci.
Early Life
Park Min-Ji was born in Portmon on the 9th of March 2001, a period that is noted for being the end of the Lost Decade and a time in which foreign tourists were visiting the country for the first time.
Min-Ji first became interested in music after winning a competition being run MalTec in which she was able to see Eclipse perform in her home city of Portmon, after this Min-Ji was inspired to become involved in music herself and subsequently started receiving musical lessons which were being offered by her local ASG centre.
Musical Career
In 2017 Min-Ji was invited to join the idol training programme at Ascension Musical Productions, during this time Min-Ji worked as a back-up dancer and support vocalist for Eclipse and other idol groups, as part of a scheme designed to impart experience upon young idols.
In 2020 Ascension Musical Productions formed a new group, Venus with Min-Ji serving the role of Lead Vocalist and Visual within the group. Shortly after Venus was announced netizens on social media commented on how Min-Ji looked similar to Amelia Ricci from Eclipse, with dozens of pictures being posted across social media highlighting the similarities and suggesting that Min-Ji looked like Amelia's daughter.
Acting Career
In early 2020 it was announced that Min-Ji would be starring alongside Amelia Ricci in Hello, Me?. It was rumoured that the similarity in appearance between the two idols was a factor in this decision, although this has not been officially confirmed.
