Prince Robert of Roazhon (27 August 1995; Raibeart Riocus Alan Yohnnes Heranal) is a Gelonian prince of the blood, and grandson of King Robert IV. He is the second child, and eldest son of Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon and Maely Laorans. At the time of his birth, Robert was 4th in line to the Gelonian throne; he is currently 7th.

Early life

Prince Robert was born on 27 August 1995 at St Tudwal Hospital, in Oxonia, to Prince Riocus, Duke of Roazhon and Maely Laorans. He has one elder sister, and four younger siblings by his father's second marriage. At his birth, Robert was bestowed the title Prince of Roazhon with the style of His Royal Highness as the grandson of the Sovereign. Robert was born during the reign of his grandfather, and namesake, King Robert IV. Through his mother, Robert is related to Clan Laorans. Robert's first cousin is Gelonian heir presumptive, Lena, Princess Royal. He is the nephew of King Arthur XI. He was baptized into the Church of Gelonia in November 1995. His godparents are King Arthur XI (his father's brother); Michelle Laorans (his maternal grandmother).

Education

Robert attended public schooling from an early age at his mother's request. He attended Aberlour, a Gelonian boarding school known for it's rigorous curriculum, for secondary school. Upon earning his bac from Aberlour, he enrolled at Imperial University, Saint-Nazaire with no gap year. In 2013, he entered the economics program though would change his focus to X in 2014. He graduated from Saint-Nazire in 2017.

Personal life

Prince Robert is passionate athelete and outdoorsman. He began ice skating at age 3, and played organized ice hockey from age 5 until 21, playing through college in local Gelonian youth and later Vannoisian men's leagues. He holds season tickets to Gwer Dournfawr of Liga Magna, and VH1's Saint-Nazaire NAME. Robert is a fisherman, and regularly participates in royal hunts in Gelonia and Imperial hunts in Vannois.

He is reportedly close with his elder sister, Gaudentia of Roazhon, and is the godfather to both of her children. Despite the closeness of his relationship to Gaudentia, Robert is not believed to have a relationship with his father according to courtiers. Robert regularly visits his sister and her family in Ghish.

Marriage

On 9 July 2016, Robert married Marie-Anne of Escondeaux, eldest daughter of Joseph III, Duke of Escondeaux and Anne of Valcourt. Robert and Marie-Anne first met when both were students at Imperial University, Saint-Nazaire studying the same program. They began courting in 2014 when Anne-Marie was in law school at nearby Sciences Po Saint-Nazaire. Their engagement was announced in January 2016. They spent their honeymoon in X.

Robert and Anne-Marie's primary residence is in Saint-Nazaire, Vannois, where his wife is a speechwriter for Joseph Lemaire. Robert and Anne-Marie maintain a private residence in Oxonia, Gelonia, and an apartment at Kastell Roue.
