Conall Solis is the first and current Emperor of the Empire of Makko Oko. He began his reign the same day as the declaration of victory by the Christian Nationalist Front in the Civil Transition War, and was officially coronated as Emperor on September 16th, 2019. He is the first person to have not been voted into office in Makko Okoan history, ascending to a previously non-existent throne.

Conall was born on March 8th, 1982 in the small town of Zawok. He went to school and did relatively well in his academics, but as he aged, he started studying and learning the ideology of Controlism, an ideology in which one wants ultimate control over everything they can. In his case, his control stemmed from student council, in which he was able to manipulate the student body into voting for him. He later stumbled upon Christianity from a fellow student at school, and upon reading a copy of the bible given to him by said student, was rather intrigued by the practices and well-liked them, however the Republic Government was largely atheist and did not well like religion in government, or in public, so churches were essentially non-existent.

When the Civil Transition War began in July of 2018, Conall came on board as the Lieutenant General of the Christian Nationalist Forces, which he managed to get by having friends who either helped build the militia, or knew people who helped build it. During his time as Lieutenant General, he led some of the most important battles of the war, like the battles of Gjdorsk and Ylul which were key battlegrounds necessary for the occupation of the former capital of Joria. Then, after Conall ascended to the position of Emperor, he led major reforms of justice, government structure and other parts of law to more optimize and efficiently run the economy. This led to inflation being reduced over time, compared to during the final years of the era of the Republic.

Early Life, Family & Education

Early on, Conall had been a visionary and dared to speak up when nobody else chose to, getting him into trouble on numerous occasions, but it never stopped him from doing it. He was a lone child to Terry and Martha Solis, with whom both had gotten cut off from their families for "not fitting into the culture", leading to a great lack of support for them. Terry had begun to hate the tribal ways and sought to lead a movement disconnecting people from it, and starting up a revolution.

He ended up passing of a heart attack right before Conall entered secondary school, and his vision of that revolution never came true. By the time he was in his 8th year, the Republic Of Makko Oko was formed, and Conall didn't like it one bit, inheriting the hate from his father and taking in the spirit to stand up to bullies. He ended up delving into a Christian cult, and there got converted into Controlism, which fit his mindset perfectly like a puzzle piece. That would end up shaping his career path after high school as he went to an international college to study political science, where he then graduated in time with a MBA to run for President in 2007.

After high school, Conall reached out to extended family and began to become very close with them, especially his grandfather, or Terry's dad, Joey Woo, who shared and actively supported his dad and Conall's efforts. Joey wouldn't partake in the war and would instead be a draft dodger, fleeing to another nation and then returning years after the war, in 2022.

The Dad Controversy

After the enactment of the Crown Act of 2023 on June 20th, 2023, after an investigation to locate any and all people on the Emperor's family tree, the government had found that an unknown individual had a 73% DNA match, and after exhumation and extensive testing of Terry Solis's remains, found that Terry wasn't his birth father, but his adoptive father. His biological father was Eugene Barnes, who was a venture capitalist and C-level executive working over in Joria, Makko Oko.

Due to the circumstances surrounding succession, Eugene legally had a claim to the throne and on June 28th, 2023, the Privy Council officially named him heir apparent to the throne, and the first in the line of succession. This led to quite an outrage nationally over platforms such as MakBook, and called for him to waive any claim or right to the throne. The council later voted unanimously to remove him from the line of succession while letting him stay in the Imperial Family. Marco Barnes, his oldest offspring and Conall's half-brother, became the new heir apparent to the throne the same day.

Candidate for President of the Republic of Makko Oko

Conall Solis ran for President on 2 occasions and failed both times. Once in 2007 and once in 2014. Conall's campaigns for both were very close to winning but long-time incumbent Harold Zenonis was hard to defeat and ended up staying on the podium up until the end of the Civil Transition War in 2019. Conall's campaigns were both based on slander and propaganda on the rival candidates, most of which worked to fool the populace, along with promises that when they actually became Emperor were mostly not fulfilled.

Military Life

Christian Nationalist Front & The War

During the Civil Transition War, then-Lieutenant General Conall Solis distinguished himself through exceptional bravery and leadership, earning the Medal of Honor for his actions at the pivotal Battle of Joria. The Battle of Joria, a turning point in the conflict between the Christian National Front (CNF) and the Republic of Makko Oko, took place in the former capital city. As the birthplace of the war, where the first shot was fired killing the President's wife, Joria held immense symbolic and strategic importance. Leading a daring assault against entrenched Republic forces defending key government buildings, Conall rallied his troops and spearheaded the advance despite heavy enemy fire.

During the intense urban combat, he was struck by shrapnel in his left arm but refused evacuation. Ignoring his wounds, Conall personally led a small team to outflank a Republic strongpoint that had pinned down the CNF's main force. Under a hail of bullets, he and his men fought their way through several buildings, eventually reaching a position overlooking the enemy emplacement. Despite his injury and the extreme danger, Solis coordinated a precise artillery strike on the Republic position while simultaneously directing his team's suppressing fire. This action broke the deadlock and allowed CNF forces to overrun the last major Republic defenses in the city.

Conall's heroic actions and tactical acumen were instrumental in securing victory at Joria. The fall of the former capital dealt a severe blow to Republic morale and gave the CNF control over critical government infrastructure. This battle marked a decisive shift in the war's momentum, ultimately contributing to the CNF's final triumph and the establishment of the new regime. For his extraordinary valor and decisive leadership in the face of grave danger, Lieutenant General Conall Solis was awarded the Medal of Honor. His actions at the Battle of Joria exemplified the highest traditions of military service and played a crucial role in shaping the future of Makko Oko.

Rise to Prominence

Conall joined the CNF when it originally formed in 2015, which back then was a top secret christian political organization that preached the word of god and sought to change politics in favor of christianity. Prior to the war, the CNF was preparing for battle prior to the Eleshull Riot, which was unplanned and spontaneous, and Conall was selected for militia training and graduated at the top of his class. He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and assigned to the 1st Infantry Battalion, where he served as a platoon commander. During this time, he demonstrated exceptional bravery and strategic thinking, leading his platoon to several key victories against Republic forces. Conall's exceptional performance earned him recognition from his superiors, and he was soon promoted to Captain. Seeing little failures compared to other soldiers, he became a Lieutenant General and given command of the 3rd Special Forces Company, an elite unit tasked with conducting high-risk missions behind enemy lines. Under his leadership, the 3rd Special Forces Company became one of the most feared and respected units in the CNF's military.

Reign

Accession & Coronation

At the time of accession, the monarchy was virtually non-existent, so at Conall's coronation as defacto Emperor, only the top leaders of the now-defunct CNF were present, some of whom became cabinet officials thereafter.

The July 2022 Constitutional Protests

The July 2022 Constitutional Protests was the first major event to occur during his reign, and was an event that shook the nation at its core and led to positive changes long-term. The protests started on July 6th, 2022 with about 20,000 protesting peaceably regarding an amendment made to the Constitution that revoked every constitutional right and sowed chaos in the nation. On July 7th, Minister of Justice Sara Mauer had an assassination attempt on her life in Phearburgh, near the top secret Ministry of Internal Security HQ. The next day, on July 8th, Emperor Conall ordered military support and Opal Tapscott was determined to be the leader of the protests and was subsequently arrested. On July 11th, Emperor Conall signed a new bill into law titled the Residential Security Act, to replace the ID Act and to be put into force in one week, and the law was the largest change in security protocols and policies in the world, and made Makko Oko be at the center of the security and freedom debate. On July 16th, the RSA began enforcement, and riots broke out, with over 2,000 arrests in Bora, 6,000 charged with crimes under the new law and by July 19th, over 6 million people across every city had been arrested, but many released on the condition that they comply with the law hastily.

Courtships & Marriage

Conall, according to historical archives and the press, has never been reported to be considering or actively in, a courtship. Conall was reported as saying to OMONN in February of 2020 that "I am not currently considering marriage, or even as much as a girl who may be my friend. My power is best not sullied by the likeness of marriage or relationships". Scholars believe that due to Conall's ideology of Controlism, it may conflict with the wants or needs of marriage, meaning that Conall will likely never get married.

Conall has held one title universally across the empire of Emperor, but also holds the title of Commander-In-Chief of the Liberation Forces, however that title is not seen nor used commonly by him.
