The Syan Corsairs, sometimes known as the Syan Pirates, are a pirate group active in the Tunumo Sector of the Outer Band of the Talin Galaxy. They occupy a territory of space at the crossroads of the boundary of the Kibos Arm which includes the planets Nonyda, Kyrtaa, and Nruyt. Consisting of dozens of pirate gangs operating under one alliance, they use their stronghold territories as a base to strike in nearby independent space, sometimes venturing into riskier heists and hits in the territories of the Idir Collective and the Wyiil. Though brazen in their raids of starships and settlements, the Corsairs rarely commit murder and prefer to take hostages to exchange for ransom.
