Relations between Kayahallpa and Yisrael have spanned over two centuries. Official diplomatic ties have been continually maintained since the early 19th century, while the first documented contact between Kayans and Yisraelis occurred during explorer and polymath Dan Ben-Levy's Cross-Oxidentalese Expedition of 1565-1570, one of the first visits into modern Kayahallpa from the Periclean region. The visit had a significant cultural impact for the Kayans, who received their first ever impression of monotheism, among other things.
Modern diplomatic relations were first established shortly after the War of 1818 between Kayahallpa and the Mutul, where the Kayans emerged victorious. Seeing a mutual geopolitical interest in halting Mutulese influence, the Yisraelis invested in Kayahallpa's modernization and industrialization through the Royal Bank of Yisrael's foreign direct investment loans after 1889 as well as Yisraeli advisers to professionalize and modernize Kayan military forces, government organization, and economic models. In return, the Yisraelis gained greater access to Kayahallpan resources, particularly precious metals, valuable industrial metals, and cheap labor. A small Jewish community in Kayahallpa was founded in this era and persists to the present day.
