Sefu Hodari Tu'Aruc (November 21, 1768(1768-11-21) (aged 68)) was a Seran noble, Royal Navy Sailor, and member of the Seran royal family who served as the twelfth Monarch of the United States of Sera. He ascended to the throne after his older brother King Amin Tu'Aruc abdicated the throne in favor of his younger brother. King Amin succeeded after the death of their mother Queen Zola, however felt unfit for rulership after only seven contentious years in the position. In a first-time ceremony, King Amin stepped down and officially coronated his younger brother as his successor; the first time in Seran history that the successor of a monarch was directly chosen by the ruling monarch. As was the case with his reign, King Amin's actions were highly contested by Parliament and the other members of the royal family who felt that this action was nothing more than nepotism. Despite this, King Sefu Tu'Aruc still ascended to the throne on May 14th, 1970 where he remained until his death.

Sefu's political career started early at the age of 16 where he helped organize and lead several protests for the expansion of civil rights in the country for casteless Serans. He pioneered the development of the Arts and Sciences IDEAs Grant, oversaw the launching of Sera's second overall and first nuclear powered aircraft carrier, helped lead the highly controversial Summer Communist Rebellion from 1969 to 1977, crushed ideas of statehood for the then-self governing territory of Xanthus in Parliament through lobbying, denied calls for greater religious tolerance, among other things.

King Sefu would go down in Seran history as a beloved, albeit flawed monarch and is seen by some as perpetually attempting to live up to the ideals of his great-grandmother, while to others a man who matured through his rulership and attempted to make the lives of everyone in Sera better.
