The Allied Invasion of Indiae (1 October 1943 - 5 October 1943) took place on 1 October 1943, when Allied forces, following the end of the Nepali-Bhutania Campaign first entered Indiae through the Punjabi Region. The operation also saw the mass paradrops of Airbourne forces behind enemy lines in an attempt to link-up with the Indiaen Resistance. The invasion was the first large-scale invasion undertaken in South Asianna following the Allied forces crossing from the Middle East to Asianna.
The end of the invasion allowed the allies to establish a 7 km bridgehead into the Punjabi region, and subsequently proceeding with the Northern Indiae Campaign and the ambitious Operation Heartglen.
