The Alexandria-Prussia Department of Banking and Securities is a central government that provides oversight of financial institutions and is charged with fostering economic growth while concurrently protecting consumers and investors. The department regulates banks that have received national charters, as well as over 250,000 non-bank lenders, including mortgage brokers, securities dealers and debt managers. In addition the departmeent in forces the statutory requirement that public companies and other regulated companies submit quarterly and annual reports, as well as other periodic reports.
