The Public Identity Card (Makuri: Public Aliit Card) is an identity document issued to permanenent residents and citizens of the Empire Of Makko Oko. All permanent residents (Including citizens and non-citizens with indefinite leave to remain) are eligible for a public identity card, which can be applied for only in-person at a Nationality & Citizenship Bureau office, with renewal of a Public Identity Card allowed to be done via the post. The card contains the name of the bearer, place of birth, date of birth, sex, nationality, blood type and signature, in addition to information relating to the issuing of the card. Each bearer of the public identity card has a unique identity number, which is also found on the card. This identity number is used to verify eligibility to certain services such as welfare and can be tied directly to paychecks from employers.

The Public Identity Card may be used as official proof of identity to access certain goods and services that may be restricted otherwise.

Use

The Public Identity Card can be used as a formal identification document in situations where proof of identity and/or nationality is required.
