Akambo is a 2023 Tiwuran animated bahiofuturist science fiction film directed by August Nnamani. The film is based on the 2012 book Akambo: All Signs Point To The Bay written by Okoro Prince. The film stars Tobias Aniakor, Cherry Nbasi, Okwui Nzekwu, and Tari Fasingha. The film sets itself around a dystopian future where the world has been torn apart by warfare, and the only promise for many is the high-tech city of Akambo, which is built upon the Bay of Bahia.
