Plot
The film begins in post-apocalyptic Tiwura. The protagonist, Ekene, had finally reached the ruins of Omamiri. Ekene is jumped by a group of bandits as he enters the city, fending them off and escaping to a rusty nearby hotel. Ekene stops for the night, where he looks at his map, which has a line from Shangea all the way to the Bay of Bahia, and crosses out the last stop in his destination, Omamiri. After doing this, Ekene hears the crackling of flames and he looks outside and sees a raging forest fire in the distance. Relieved to see that it is at a good distance away, he falls asleep. He is awoken when he hears his door creak open, and a man walks in. Ekene reacts and pushes the man against a wall, asking him who he is and why he came into the room. The man tells him his name is Bahar Karubi, and he came to find "the city". Ekene asks Bahar how he found out about this it, and Bahar tells him that he was once a soldier in what remains of Zorasan, and protected one of the world's holiest cities. One day, he was out on patrol and was ambushed by bandits. Bahar says he thought that would be his last day, until suddenly the gunshots were gone, and upon looking up to find the bandits, all he saw was a lone sign sitting in the desert that read "Find Paradise! Find the Grand City! Escape Desolation! Look for the Bay!" "Since then," Bahar exclaims, "I survived and have sought all around for paradise." Bahar asks Ekene why he is here, and Ekene replies that while he only remember faintly hearing about the city as a child. Bahar suddenly leaves the room, saying that he forgot his first aid kit somewhere else. Ekene tries to follow him, but Bahar is long gone. Looking out the window, Ekene makes a confused face as he sees pristine green trees where he saw the fire. Ignoring it, Ekene makes is way through the ruins of Omamiri.
Ekene turns past a corner and sees the shoreline, and past it, a glistening skyline of buildings taller than he had ever seen. The architecture reflects a bahiofuturist style. Astonished Ekene slowly walks along the coast, eventually seeing a vast causeway stretching to the city in the bay. At the front there is a sign stating "Go in and Shine". Music ramps up as Ekene walks along the causeway, made of bright silverly and green metals and gems. Eventually, Ekene reaches the bright gates of the city. The doors open, and Ekene is greeted by a man. The man welcome Ekene and brings him to transportation pod that takes him around the city. The guide tells him the city is named Akambo, and it was built years ago after the fall of the world by brilliant men.
