Mugen, or commonly known by his alias as Takamune Yūma (高尊勇真) or Jung Min-jae (정민재), is an awakened human-hybrid male from Earth, and the founder of Orientia. He was formerly the President of Orientia, and currently holds the title as the elder of Argos, the guildmaster of Reaper Guild and the founder of Panon. Born in a Southeast Asian country of Old Asia, Mugen is the second most powerful awakened in the Realms of the Multiverse, having awakened his own ability at a young age and was one of a prodigy in controlling Qi to some certain extent where he was able to combat well-trained soldiers and small militias. Later in life, he was contacted by the Hurites and brought New Eden for training and experiment.

Personal Life

Early Life

Mugen (real name unknown) was born on 27 August, in a tropical Southeast Asian country ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, the first child of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, a ▇▇▇▇▇▇ government official, and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. He lived in Japan for a while, but later came back to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, where he grew up with his younger sibling in the neighborhood of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, in the city of ▇▇▇▇▇▇.

Teenage Years

Mugen's teenage life was mostly unknown, as it was not publicly disclosed. Researchers were also unable to obtain information as any interview attempts regarding the topic has been deliberately avoided by Mugen himself. The only information regarding his teenage life, were that he reached 4 geup in Taekwondo during school years and was also trained in Pencak Silat, although briefly.

Mugen awakened his first ability in high school where he was shocked by electricity while he tried to repair a faulty cable line for a projector. His ability was triggered by this very event, where a few days later he'd accidentally cause a power outage in school, which, fortunately, only Tianshi noticed. After his awakening, his sole focus was only to train his own power until he was able to fully control and understand it. In high school, he was approached by Tianshi, who was an awakener as well, to form Urban Jungle, a vigilante-animal-themed superhero team, and took the name Manux. During his university years, he left Urban Jungle to focus on his own growth, where he often trained near electrical sub-stations. He finally mastered his own ability right before his graduation.

Adult Years

Mugen studied and gained his B.Ed degree from ██████████ University of █████████. After his graduation, he shifted his career and learned computer programming in ███████, and worked in ██████████ as a mobile developer. In 2026, he left the job and decided to study abroad in South Korea. During his graduate study years, he started the development of Citru, an AR mobile application, which, is the early stage of then-Mir in the future.

After his graduation, along with his ex-co workers, Mugen established a software company Panon and became the main developer in the company. In 2029, he dated Moon Ji-Ae, a former K-pop singer. The two of them met in the studio after Mugen personally handled the production for the app's commercial. They both got married in May 2029.

In 2034, the company was acquisitioned and became the subsidiary of Neon Corporation and Mugen was appointed as one of Panon's directors. As he was no longer a developer, he then settled in Chiba, Japan.

Heavenly Jade

In 2036, the Hurites were invaded by the Devil. The sudden invasion left Hurites unable to respond and sought help, thus making their planet devastated, and most of the Hurites were hypnotized, transforming them into "The Thrails". Some of the remaining Hurites took shelter in a massive series of caverns deep under the ruined planet's surface, and built a city called "Kuramtu", close to the planet's core, for warmth, power, and protection. Based on the understanding of Enli-lumma, the location of Kuramtu is still unknown to The Thrails above the ground.

Being the descendants of Seth who settled in New Eden, deep under the ground, they protected the Heavenly Jade. The existence of the Devil itself has been prophesied in the "Synesis" (a book that is heavily related to the Torah, Bible, and the Quran)). Some time later, the remaining Hurites dispatched many of their scouts throughout the universe, hoping to find a suitable candidate to wield the Heavenly Jade, a jade that was said to A tiny part of the stone itself also exist on Earth, known by humans as Hajar Aswad. Mugen was proved to be the suitable candidate, and was brought to New Eden in 2037.

As an untrained awakened, Mugen had to undergo rigorous training--both physically and mentally. He had a special diet--mainly consist of plants, fish, Šu (goat-like herbivore) and Galgal (camel-like herbivore). He was also taught Hurite martial arts (later known as Heaven-Shaking Iron Arts). The training went approximately for 1075 years in New Eden, as time flows differently. As a way to stop aging, he was physically maintained using Hurite technology every 100 years. On the final day of his training, he was exposed to the jade, and he managed to withstand the divine power of the jade for five minutes--then went into coma immediately.

While in a coma, he had to go through the jade's trials in six stages, awakening each of its user's sense; sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. On the first stage, Mugen had to withstand inability to taste; on second stage, inability to smell; on third stage, inability to feel; on fourth stage, inability to hear, and on fifth stage, inability to see. On the last stage, he had to withstand the divine power while having all of his senses completely restrained. All of these stages were made as a way to be completely grateful and submissive to the divinity.

And finally, by 2039 (of Earth time), Mugen woke up from his coma, and the jade was completely fused with his body. His body was glowing in various colors. Using the ability of the jade, he didn't need to use the Hurite-made machine to stop aging, as the jade itself gives him an extremely long span of life. The jade granted him power near the level of Celestials, granting him control over space, reality, time, energy, and soul. Despite the powerful capabilities, he had to maintain a stable emotion and extort tremendous amount of strength and Qi to use all power of the stone at the same time. He was sent back to earth a few months before the Third World War. When Tianshi was killed by the Devil, he was in charge of the human-awakener faction and successfully weakened the Devil temporarily. After Tianshi's resurrection, they both fought together and finally liberated the Earth by 2041.

Ruling Years

After Amenria's independence, there was a political conflict between Mugen and Tianshi, where Tianshi was on monarchist faction and Mugen was on republican faction. The political conflict ceased for a while, but Mugen was growing the seeds of rebellion throughout Amenria, by gathering awakeners and founded the rebel organization Rising Dawn. The rebellion reached its peak in March 11, 2043 where the rebels stormed the capital. The day was marked as the beginning of War of the Dusk and Dawn.

Mugen fought Tianshi in his palace, resulting in the destruction of the entire land of Central Chinese plains. The fight lasted for a month, until they finally reached a ceasefire and agreement in April 2043. Mugen decided to found a nation, fully separated from the theocratic empire of Amenria. As soon as the war ended and Orientia gained independence, Rising Dawn members, along with Mugen, took control of the newly-made government and changed the name of the group to Argos. Mugen stepped up as a president for the newlyfound nation, but he later stepped down in 2047, giving his presidency seat to Yoo Jong-hyun (also known as "Sword Saint"). He remained his position as the elder of Argos and as the guildmaster of Reaper Guild.

Family

In 2029, Mugen married a former Korean singer, Moon Ji-Ae. They have two children, Takamune Yūto (born 2030) and Takamune Tsuki (born 2031).

Religion

Mugen was born into a muslim family, and throughout his life, he went to religious school, prominently ▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ primary school and ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ high school. Many scholars claimed he's a sunni muslim, and a follower of Shafi'i school. Although, he himself clarified that he is "just a muslim", not specifying his denomination.

Powers

Heavenly stone

Heavenly stone is an immensely powerful gem-like objects tied to different aspects of the universe, created by God. The stone itself was originally a single, dark-coloured stone, but was shattered at some point in the past (most likely after Adam's banishment to Earth). One of them was used as a way to channel energy from Earth to the Heavens. In 2038 (Earth time) Hurites finally took all the fragments of the stone and fuse it together, and implanted the stone on Mugen's body. By default, Mugen is capable of controlling electromagnetism and technology, however, the stone has amplified his body and ability to match that of the weakest Celestials.

Being a divine stone that holds a tremendous amount of energy, only Celestials and carefully-experimented, gifted metahuman hybrid beings such as Mugen can wield it. Lesser beings would face dire consequences, as the stone requires a tremendous amount of life force, strength and Qi, including a stable , balanced emotional spectrum at the same time. From this stone, he obtained limited control over reality, space, time and all kinds of energy in the universe, from which, he made two ultimate abilities:

Infinite Room

Infinite Room (Japanese: 無限空間 Mugen Kūkan) is an ultimate ability that allows Mugen to concentrate his internal energy to the maximum, then lets off a powerful lightning which rips the fabric of space and time. He then proceeds to launch his opponent into this thing, the intent being that opponents caught into this will wander endlessly inside a limbo between time and space with no opportunity to return.

Heaven's gate

Heaven's Gate (Japanese: 天国の門 Tengoku no Mon) is Mugen's another ultimate ability that allows him to connect reality with a sub-space where he stored a seemingly-infinite amount of cosmic energy. By opening an "invisible door" between them, this ability allows him to shape the energy into explosive projectiles, as many as 300 projectiles.

Expert Tactician

Mugen, while a somewhat brash tactician, every so often made many split-second tactical decisions that either saved people's lives or overpowered his adversaries.

Calm State

Mugen can enter into or is always calm, serene and relaxed regardless of the situation(s) or what happens to himself or around him. His body, mind, heart and soul are always perfectly clear and relaxed, and his mental fortitude and endurance is unbreakable/unyielding no matter what is happening. This render him capable of using the Heavenly Stone.

Expert Combatant

Mugen was trained in both Taekwondo and Pencak Silat, making him have an extensive understanding of combat and an innate encyclopedic knowledge in hand-to-hand and melee fighting styles. Therefore capable of understanding and analyzing opponents' style of combat and flaws in the opponent's attack and defense.

Computer Expert

As a programmer, Mugen has went through training and is an expert at computers and everything connected to them, including hacking, coding, programming, fixing bugs/viruses, cracking passwords, etc.

Mugen is fluent in English, Indonesian, as well as Korean and Japanese.

Peak Human Intellect

Mugen is more intelligent than most of his species, or at least able to use his brain more efficiently and effectively either by being naturally gifted and trained himself for the needed shortcuts, possessing a high IQ of around 144.

Mugen's sense of smell is pushed to the highest limits of human perfection. Mugen is naturally born with the capability that can rival the wolves being capable of using their sense of smell to attain blindsight as well as illusions awareness, and good tracking abilities, as well as lie detection through chemical that are released, and pregnancy perception because of pheromones and shapeshifting awareness through particular type of smell of a person and also empathy because of pheromones.

Sensory Overload

Being naturally born with the capability of enhanced smelling, this heightened ability often gives Mugen an olfactory overload where he'd easily struggle with breathing. As a result, Mugen often wears a mask to prevent this, especially when fighting.
