The Monarch's Revolution was an attempted revolution against the Parliament and Prime Minister Orlando Moreno Hidalgo on July 4, 1729. Carlos III was executed on August 13, 1729, which led to the establishment of the Republic of Creeperopolis (which would later be abolished following by the Peoples' Revolution). The office of President of Creeperopolis was established in the wake of the abolition of the monarchy.
