The Revolution of 1833 was a civil military operation which deposed Emperor Manuel IV from power. The coup/revolution was carried out on June 14, 1833 and was led by the future Emperor Adolfo III and Creeperian Army Chief Field Marshal Miguel Cabañeras Gutiérrez.
The Papal State supported the military and Adolfo III.
