Vacoas (medieval Trellinese: Vakhoaz; Urbonic: Vakiohasz) is a city in western Morikz. It is one of five cities which traditionally comprise the Trophy Ports, a province of Trellin. With a population of 257,149, it is the third most populous city in the Trophy Ports and the most populous settlement on the island of Morikz.
Vacoas was founded in 759 by Trellinese general Marno Arguz during Mokhra I's conquest of Morikz. At first merely the foothold for the gradual annexation of the island, it subsequently became a major trading port in the western Sea of Velar. The city was besieged for two months during the War of the Velaran Succession before the Velaran armies withdrew and abandoned Morikz.
