Vedian is the oldest Kingdom in Scandera and was created when the first human migrations into the Wharen empire managed to drive the Wharen from the Vedian mountain chains which gave the humans in Scandera control of the iron and coal there. Just as in those days so are mining the largest economy in Vedian with manufacturing being a large second.

Geography

Vedian is often called the highlands as most of the realm is either covered in forests or large mountains with a large tundra to the north which marks the end of proper scandera and the beginning of the northern iceplains and with large fjords on the coasts. There are four geographical regions that are either shared or covered entirely by Vedian, "Vedianska låglandet" in the south is unuqie in that it is the only region that is entirely covered by the Vedian crown but it also rules over parts of "Karmanjanska passet" and "Bergakusten" in the west as well as "Vedianska bergen" that covers most of the realm.

Climate

Being north of Imeriata proper so is the temperature colder and the winters tends to be longer and colder with temperatures varying between 10 Celsius in the summer and - 25 in the winter as a general rule.
