The Dulebian colonial empire at its highest consisted of only 2 colonial assets: Dulebian Melasia, formed by three major and several smaller islands in the southern part of the Melasian archipelago, and the fort of Pavlovsk-Vostochny (currently known as Dongdao) in the southern part of Yudong. Dulebia established its first naval base in the Karsk sea relatively late, in the last decade of the 18th century, after capturing the Kingdom of Aldena during the Cuthish Revolution. This mean that the empire barely participated in the age of exploration, initiating only several expeditions to the South pole in the first decades of the 19th century. However, the active participation of Dulebia in the Cuthish Revolution led to the purchase of the Cuthish fort of Dongdao, the only Cuthish outpost in Eastern Pamira, and the acquisition of the Cuthish colony of Melasia as a result of the Treaty of Ulich in 1807. This development established Dulebia as a colonial power.
It was not until the Karsk Sea War, however, that Dulebia established a naval hegemony over the Karsk sea and finally managed to financially support its colonial assets. Even so, the empire was very limited in Yudong due to the presence of Mascylla and Lavaria and their monopoly over the Yudongese markets. This led to the neglect of the port of Dongdao, which was renamed to Pavlovsk-Vostochny shortly after its aqcuisition, and it only remained a Dulebian naval outpost, serving a vital role during the Great war.The Dulebian colonial possessions in Melasia saw an increase in finance between 1870 and 1900, when several small ports were established and the rubber cultivation became a primary focus of the economy of the colony.
The Dulebian colonial empire collapsed relatively quickly after the outbreak of the Great war in Berea. Dulebian Melasia was occupied by troops of the Federated Melasian States, a dominion of the Mascyllary Empire, only one month after the first hostilities of the conflict. It remained under direct Melasian control and was later integrated into the federation in accordance with the Treaty of Lehpold. The fate of the Fort of Dongdao would be somewhat different, with it managing to withstand several attacks up until the end of the war in 1916, and serving as a military base for Dulebian raiding operations in the area until 1913, when it was finally blockaded. Being completely cut-off from the metropole, the fort managed to resist up until the formal end of the war, when its garrison surrenderred to a joint Mascyllo-Lavarian fleet.
