Sutton is a city on the northwest coast of the province of Zian in Zamastan. It has a population of 121,230 as of 2020. Settled by Adulans in 1761 by Skithan fur traders, the city has retained a large number of its historic buildings, in particular its two most famous landmarks, the Town Hall Buildings (finished in 1797) and the Emperor hotel (opened in 1801). The region's Catica First Nations peoples established communities in the area long before Adulan settlement, which had large populations at the time of Adulan exploration and colonialism.
Known as "The Garden City", Sutton is an attractive city and a popular tourism destination with a regional technology sector that has risen to be its largest revenue-generating private industry. Sutton has rugged shorelines and several beaches. Sutton is popular with retirees who come to enjoy the temperate and usually snow-free climate of the area as well as the usually relaxed pace of the city.
