Hikaru Rikuru (15 April 1995) is a New Akibander soldier serving in the New Akiba Defence Forces. She is currently placed under the Royal New Akiba Engineer Corps while being under the Auxiliary Territorial Service Corps as a support personnel for maintenance purposes. She was later on admitted to Task Force 141 as a support personnel.
Hikaru is often found with her two best friends, Akane Sorano and Kaoru Shiono. The three had been friends since their college years. The three enrolled in engineering until they decided to transfer to the United Kingdom after being offered by an ATS officer to be trained and be given an immediate job in the army as a maintenance personel with an hourly salary of 20 Gils. The three agreed and they later on graduated in 2014. Following their graduation, the three went on a tour of duty before finally being given work. They were discovered by Sgt-Mj. Saori Suzushiro, who was looking for support personnel for a new task force being created. They agreed.
Hikaru is the youngest of the three, hence why Akane and Kaoru treat her as if she is precious in their life. The three voted not to serve in the frontlines, but instead to serve behind allied lines to perform repairs and keep themselves safe. Hikaru is also known to have a very strong sweet tooth, often craving for desserts even when she is in duty.
