Akane Sorano (9 September 1994) is a New Akibander soldier serving in the New Akiba Defence Forces. She is currently placed under the Royal New Akiba Engineer Corps as part of the Auxiliary Territorial Service Corps. She is later on assigned to an engineer for Task Force 141

Akane is often found with her two best friends, Kaoru Shiono and Hikaru Rikuru. The three had been friends since their college years. The three enrolled in engineering until they decided to transfer to the United Kingdom after being offered by an ATS officer to be trained and be given an immediate job in the army as a maintenance personel with an hourly salary of 20 Gils. The three agreed and they later on graduated in 2014. Following their graduation, the three went on a tour of duty before finally being given work. They were discovered by Sgt-Mj. Saori Suzushiro, who was looking for support personnel for a new task force being created. They agreed.

Akane is the most extroverted of the three, often sometimes sneaking out of her duty to participate in mixers, which often end in failure. She easily loses patience when this is mentioned by her two friends. She also has a very high tolerance to alcohol, which causes her to sometimes "lose" herself when she later on becomes drunk.

Early Life

Born to Archadian immigrants, She was born in Whangarei after her parents moved to New Akiba to escape the Archadian Revolution; which was at that time one of the most bloodiest revolutions of the 20th Century.
