Makko Oko Box Office, also known as MKBO, is one of the main premium pay television movie networks in the Empire Of Makko Oko. The Makko Oko Box Office was founded by Erica Knudsen, wife of a signatory to the Republic's Constitution, Julius Knudsen, on August 2nd, 1992, upon the first official establishment of a nationwide cable TV infrastructure. Originally being founded as a private company, the Makko Okoan Government, that being Julius himself, saw the potential future worth of the company and offered his wife to convert it into a government-owned corporation, to which she accepted, as long as she got to keep her place as CEO, which she did, until August 7th, 1998, when she passed away to breast cancer.
The Makko Oko Box Office is the oldest company founded within the nation to still exist today, currently being a public broadcasting company owned by the government.
