The Republic of Raditia (Radčanská Republika), also known as Raditia or the Second Raditian Republic, is a parliamentary republic situated on the Kryvian sub-continent. It is a unitary state further devolved into four Krainas (Provinces): the Mezirichi Kraina, the Chernograd Kraina, the Pobochian Kraina, the Teslanian Kraina, and the Pomoravian Kraina. Raditia covers an area of 230 740 km2 and has an estimated population of forty-six million. The first unified Raditan nation was the Raditian Grand Principality, officially formed in 912, which would later transform into the Raditian United Kingdom in 1720. Throughout the 19th century, Raditians became dissatisfied with the imperial rules. This dissatisfaction came to a head in 1896 when the Parliament declared the formation of Raditian Republic instead of electing a new King.
While the Republican forces eventually won, the Republic would be overthrown by socialists in 1944. The socialist dictatorship would subsequently crumble in 1976, leading to the creation of the modern-day Raditian Republic.
Raditia is a developed country, with a national GDP of circa 1,6 trillion NSD and a GDP of thirty-six thousand NSD per capita. The richest peoples earn eight times more than the poorest, with the national minimum wage being around 10 NSD. Funding for social welfare is modest, while commercial welfare is rare. Raditia is a free market country that supports individualism and the political process is free and open.
