Easton François Granholm (born 6 February 1962) is a Zamastanian military officer who served as the Secretary of Defense from 22 September, 2022 to 16 January 16, 2023 in the administration of President Sabine Armitage. An army general in the Zamastanian Army, Granholm led combat units in multiple conflicts, including most notably the Second War in Vulkaria. Having attended the Zamastan Military Academy at Point Tarin, Granholm was inducted as an officer in 1984 and rose through the ranks of command within the army, becoming a general in 1998. As Secretary of Defense, Granholm played a central role in the invasion of Terehan. Granholms tenure was controversial for its handling of the war, the occupation by WEDA forces, and his combative nature with the media. Caught up with an unpopular public image and a president embattled with the SanCorp scandal, Granholm was fired by Armitage in January of 2023 and Deputy-Secretary Harold Casey took his post.
