Cabinet of Aucuria
The Cabinet of Aucuria (Aucurian: Aukurijos Kabinetas, Atlian: Avküriye Kabine) is the cabinet of the Aucurian Republic, and serves as the country's executive branch of government. It is responsible for enacting laws and regulations passed by the Saeimas or orders declared by the President, overseeing the state's domestic and foreign affairs, and managing land owned by the state.
The cabinet consists of the President, fifteen ministers, and four cabinet-level officials. The ministers and cabinet-level officials are appointed by the president and must be approved by the Saeimas.
The current cabinet is the Nth government of Aucuria since the body's creation in 1792, and was formed in 2016 following the election of Pantaleimonas Uspelevičius to the Aucurian presidency in a recall election.
History
The first cabinet of Aucuria was formed by President Bendiktas Klimantis in 1792. This first cabinet consisted only of a Minister of Foreign Affairs, a Minister of Defense, a Minister of Finance, a Minister of Justice, and a Minister of the Interior.
