The 3rd Emperor's Law Council is the current meeting of the Law Council that convened on December 16th, 2023 during the reign of Emperor Conall Solis. The council was formed and abided by Section 8 of the Basic Rights Of Makko Oko, with apportionment and assignment of membership in the council completed under the November revision of the Basic Rights. It is the first council to be held at the new parliamentary building built in downtown Opposh, and is the first council to hold over a hundred councilmembers.
The 3rd Session saw many changes, first with the introduction of the first-ever modern tetracameral legislative body, and the only one currently in existence. That brought about membership enrollment changes, with all national judges being automatically appointed to the new Judiciary Committee to hear and decide on cases of impeachment before referring it to the chambers. In addition, religion was brought into the council with the introduction of the House of Lords, currently the biggest chamber sitting at 240 members. The House of Officials sits at 200 members to start out, with the aim of expanding both chambers over the years, as long as the membership difference is 100 or less. The House of Representatives is the smallest chamber at 82 members.
The unicameral-style voting system, while now a relic, was not fully abolished. The House of Assembly is a chamber composed of the members of every chamber in the council, which allows for voting and discussion from everybody as needed.
