Moonlight Empress , also known by her real name Tsuki Kogami (Japanese: 高上月) or simply Tsuki is the second child of Mugen.
History
Background
Tsuki was born on May 10, 2033 in Chiba, Japan as the second child of Ken Kogami and his wirst wife, Mio (née Kobayashi). She has one brother, Yuto, a half-brother, Ikki and a half-sister, Hikari. Tsuki grew up in an urban lifestyle in Chiba, along with her parents and older brother.
She attended her primary and secondary education in public schools near Funabashi, Chiba. At age 15, recognizing her potential, immediately sent her to Ichinose School, a senior high-scool level academy for awakened humans, located in Kashiwa.
Personality
Tsuki possesses a clever and strategic mindset, and a remarkable level of humbleness. Despite her own talents and capabilities, she remains grounded and humble, never allowing her skills to overshadow her interactions with others.
Her humbleness plays a vital role in her dynamic with her older brother, Kamui, who has a slightly arrogant personality. Tsuki's humble nature acts as a counterbalance to Kamui's confidence, helping to maintain harmony within the family. She respects her brother's strengths yet her own humility allows her to navigate their relationship with grace and understanding.
Powers and Abilities
Phantasm Art
Moonlight Prison
Moonlight Empress possesses the extraordinary Phantasm Art known as "Moonlight Prison." This ability allows her to summon multiple light-based energy swords, which she releases from the sky to the ground in a relentless barrage.
With precise control, the Empress directs these radiant swords towards her enemies, overwhelming them with a relentless onslaught of light-infused power. The blades sever defenses and cause significant damage to those caught within their grasp.
However, the execution of Moonlight Prison requires a substantial amount of energy and concentration. The Empress must draw upon her inner reservoir of light-based power and maintain focus throughout its usage. The duration and intensity of the technique may vary depending on her stamina and mental state.
Moonlight Prison exemplifies the Moonlight Empress's mastery of light manipulation and her formidable prowess in combat. It is a testament to her skill and dedication in harnessing the power of light to devastating effect.
Abilities
Enhanced Physique
Moonlight Empress has an enhanced mental and physical condition, incredible judgement, knowledge, creativity, imagination and other cognitive and brain-related abilities as well as being able to lift weights and output strength even the strongest weightlifters couldn’t hope to achieve, moving at speeds similar to that of cars to even subsonic speeds, being immune to nigh-fatal damage and harm and performing at peak performance without tiring for long periods. She also has a regenerative healing factor that is 10 times faster than average human.
Multilingualism
She has been shown to be capable of speaking English, Japanese, Korean, and French.
Weaknesses
Just like Kamui, the Empress has relavitvely small Qì reserves, limiting her in her use of Soul Arsenal.
Creation and Conception
The first idea for Moonlight Empress came to Infinity after reading a popular Korean web-novel titled Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. Initially, she was planned to have ice elemental powers, but Infinity changed the decision. He decided to make Moonlight Empress based on "Yoo Sang-ah", the supporting character of the said web-novel, who happens to have similar alias.
