The Mava Medal for National Service (Mavean: Tak Raailiqutyakii Mijuit Maava; Almagrian: Medalla de Mava al Servicio Nacional) is a medal awarded by Mava Council. It is the highest distinction awarded by Mavean authorities, instituted on 26 June 1998 in line with other Atitlanese states which award their own honours.
Descripton
The medal is a 36mm silver disk. The obverse of the medal features a wreath encircling the words "TAK RAAILIQUTYAKII" ("For National Service"). Above the text is the emblem of Mava. The reverse of the medal shows the recipient's name and date of award. The medal is worn with a ribbon of the Mavean colours: blue and white, as featured on the Mavean flag.
The medal is awarded in one grade. Recipients are entitled to the post-nominal letters TRM.
Eligibility
All persons are eligible for the medal, regardless of the citizenship or status. Due to the nature of Mavean demographics, with large influxes of foreign workers throughout the year, the medal was specifically designed to have a wide eligibility so to not overlook recipients who would be otherwise ineligible.
