Garetolian nationalism

Garetolian nationalism is an ideological movement that seeks to unify Garetolians under one political banner or nation-state. It takes pride in patriotism and national identity of Garetolians as a single people. It became prevalent in the mid-late 1950s during the rise of the Garetolian Independence Movement. Nowadays, the idea of Garetolian nationalism is used as rhetoric by far-right groups such as the Brotherhood of Garetolia.
