This network, as part of previous government programs, makes Littland a very interconnected country with low travel times between major cities and economic centers. Littlands energy consumption is primarily fueled coal and fossil fuels with only around 18% of the countries energy production coming from renewables. The state-owned company Littlands Maintenance Company is responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and expansion of the countrys railways, highways and airports. Private companies are the primary users of the railway network and freight both cargo and passengers along the network. The infrastructure development has been rather lacking in the southern region of the country with expansion much more frequent in the northern regions and around the capital, [[Kaslund]].
