The Navy of the Cadenzan Republic (Khadenz: Thalka ti'Tezhron Khadeg) is the maritime force of Cadenza. Its headquarters is in the Port of Cadenza.

The navy's flagship is the CTT Tiraiya, based out of the capital's harbour.

Duties

Interdiction

The Cadenzan navy is responsible for anti-smuggling operations in the country's extensive waters, and regularly intercepts drug shipments moving along the west Astyrian coast. In 2013, 30,000 kilograms of cocaine were seized off Torim Viqalka, while in 2015 an estimated 60 million NSD-worth of cocaine was intercepted en route from Andamonia to Nikolia.[1]

Assets

With the noteworthy exception of the CTT Txatka, the entire Cadenzan navy was replaced in 2014 and 2015. All six new vessels were ordered from Pharthan-based Halcyon Arms at a total cost of 7,000,000,000 NSD. Three of the ships are named after historic Cadenzan battles, with the CTT Alqu'uran and CTT Nexilë being named after famous admirals and the flagship, CTT Tiraiya, being named for the Ethlorek goddess Thaera.
