Princess Theodora of Ghant (Theodora Elizabeth Florentia Sallustia; b. 19 November 1994) commonly known as Princess Theodora, is the youngest child of John, Crown Prince of Ghant and Isabella, Princess of Latium. Following the death of her grandfather, Theodora, her sister Diana and brother Leo were attainted of their rights and titles in Ghant by their uncle and newly appointed Lord Regent Albert of Ghant. For the first three years of her life, Theodora was prohibited from traveling to Latium due to the controversy surrounding her mother's relationship with John, Crown Prince of Ghant. She was later allowed the right to enter Latium following the ascension of her uncle, Latin Emperor Jason VI to the Latin throne. In 2006, at the conclusion of her brother Nathan's regency, she and her siblings were restored their rights and titles in Ghant, again permitted to return.

Early life

Theodora was born on 19 November 1994, in Ghish, to Isabella, Princess of Latium and John, Crown Prince of Ghant; seven months after her father's death. Theodora was initially baptized into the Church of Ghant, though later converted to Catholicism in August 1997, when she was baptized at the Claudii private chapel at Palatium Supranio, in Adrianople. From her birth until 1997, Theodora resided at her mother's private villa outside of Ghish.

Flight from Ghish

On 19 May 1997, Emperor Albert I of Ghant passed away, resulting in Theodora's elder half-brother Nathan becoming Emperor under a regency led by Prince Albert of Ghant. One of the regency's first actions was to attaint Theodora and her siblings, Leo and Diana, of their rights titles, and expelling them from the country. During an early morning escape, Theodora's mother, with the help of members of her security detail, fled from Ghish on 20 May 1997.

Theodora would ultimately reach Latium, which also had a new monarch in the form of Jason VI serving as co-ruler with Latin Empress Diana Augusta. Emperor Jason welcomed Theodora and her family to Latium, meeting them at Diana Augusta International Airport on May 20.

Life in Latium

Education

Theodora attended Saint Maria's School for Girls for her primary schooling, and was eventually enrolled at Lyceum Sanctus Michaelis where she remained throughout her secondary schooling. Theodora took a two-year long gap before deciding to attend University of Ghish in her native Ghant. She graduated in 2016 with a degree in sociology.

Personal life

In 2018, Theodora began courting Jacob Lorazaina, heir to the Lordship of Lorazaina.
