Alexander Sugiyama (18 August 1961) is a Lucian officer who served in Task Force 131 and later in the Special Operations and Airbourne Force.

Alexander is the eldest son of Conlin John Sugiyama, a veteran of the War of Lorican Aggression. Alexander, along with his 2 brothers served in the Lucis Army during the Post-War of Lorican Aggression Crisis, where they were assigned under Task Force 131. Of the three brothers, Alexander possessed leadership trait as a result of his father grooming him to be a leader in the field. As a result, Alexander was Captain by the time his younger brothers had entered into army service. He was also the reason for his brothers being included in TF 131 as part of its new replacements in 1985. Alexander served throughout the 90s and in 00s along with his brothers. Currently, Alexander serves as garrison commandant of Fort George, which serves as Task Force 141's headquarters in the United Kingdom.

Alexander is the father of Yukiko Sugiyama and Akiko Sugiyama, both of which are members of Task Force 141, TF 131's modern counterpart.
