Alian Ryan Matten (born October 2, 1952) is a Zamastanian politician who has served as the Leader of the Green Liberal Party since 2020, succeeding Cain Blackwater. Prior to his party leadership, Matten served as a representative for Pahl's 37th congressional district from 2012-2020. Matten's political career began in 1983, when he campaigned for elected office at the municipal, provincial and federal levels, and served as a city councillor in Coalmont before running for congress. In his bid to replace Blackwater as party leader, Matten narrowly beat senator Lauren Saunders.
