Balton is a major city in Winst located on the Vesil River. Near the ancient Astherian capital of Val.
The city is a major manufacturing hub and home to several Wintonian Aerospace companies. The town first developed these industries due to its relatively flat flood plains and promoting intense rivalries between several companies in the area.
It is also the original territory of the Balton Family, though it holds little property in the city in modern times.
