The Barcia national football team (Idrean: Nazionale di calcio del Barcia) is the football team that represents Barcia in international association football competitions. It is currently governed by the Regia Federcalcio Barciana (Royal Barcian Football Federation). The team currently plays its home games the Stadio Osiride which was purpose built for 2024 International Cup.
The team's nickname is I Verte (The Greens), taken from the team's main home colour. The team tends to play in a home strip of a green shirt, white shorts and purple socks; with an away strip which tends to alternate between all white, gold, blue or black.
Barcia is one of the most successful teams in international football, having won the International Cup three times in 1984, 1988 and 2004, as well as the Sabarine cup on four occasions. Barcia are known for their possession based style of play which has become a staple in Barcian football since the management of Bardo Menza back in the 1980s. Menzismo as it is known today continues to influence the philosophies and styles of play of many of the most prominent teams on both the international and domestic scene.
