The Confederate Navy is a small force, primarily reserved for the defense of the Confederate Homeland. There are, however, three groups which are commonly assigned offensive duty, Carrier Group Manhattan, which is called upon when the Confederacy needs to project more force than usual overseas, which would usually be augmented to an international task force, and the smaller Strike fleet, created to harass enemy shore positions and shipping lanes. Below is the list of all ships within the Confederate Navy, separated into either type of ship, or fleet. The second carrier group, Group London, is based out of the Confederate North Coast, facing towards the Mare Ferum. The primary purpose of this fleet is to protect the shipping lanes, and perform and piracy operations in that sea. The third group, Carrier Group Paris, is based out of Alexandria, and meant to defend that area of ocean leading to the Mare Ferum from the south. The Vienna Carrier group is at port in Redemption, and is called upon for opeations in South Astyria. Finally the Northern, Southern, and Western Strike fleets have the same composition as the other strike fleet, and is reserved purely for operations in their respective regions of Astyria. The name in parenthesis next to each fleet notes the admiral in charge of that fleet's operations.
