SEIAA

Highland signed legislation passed by Parliament bringing Nebetia into the Southeastern International Association of Adula (SEIAA) in January of 2021. Highland, however, was personally opposed to joining the alliance. His concerns were specifically highlighted when the government of Togaria dropped out of peace talks in Buena Vera, Artegana and was subsequently sanctioned by many Coalition of Crown Albatross states. Nebetia was initially caught in these sanctions, but once Highland publicly condemned the Togarian government and criticized Queen Diana of Alecburgh for her response, the sanctions were dropped by Zamastan and Drambenburg.

On April 21st, 2021, Highland called on SEIAA to disband[1] following Alecburghian Prime Minister Sparrow Creed's induction of military action against insurgents. He suggested that Nebetia leave SEIAA and redistribute shared funding to other resources and organizations, encouraging the governments of Togaria, Cyruda, Bazira, Ireqa, and the Mist Carthara Islands to do the same.

Controversy

On March 2nd, 2021, Highland came under fire for comments made about National Labor Party leader Miranda Cervil in which he said "Cervil is a piece of work. Waste of air. Her policies are basically a tenet for radicality and b******* crazy people. I hate that woman." [2]
