Crown Princess Elena of Chieti GL, KC, KS, Kt, VMS (Elena Atalanta Eunomya Campbell, Born 14/07/1991 (age 27)) is a member of the Kouralian Royal Family. She is the eldest child of Queen Alyxandra Campbell and her late lover, Sir Dyræl Eleni. Thanks to absolute primogeniture Elena is the heir to the Kouralian Crown despite the birth of her younger brother, Sebastyan. She is officially styled as 'The Crown Princess Elena', but has usually been known as 'Sir Elena' in Kouralia since her accolade in 2016.

She was originally educated abroad, but following the conclusion of the Millenial War her entire secondary education was completed at schools in Kouralia before attending the prestigious Royal Galthyc Legatine Institute. Following a fourth year there, she received a Lieutenancy in the 1st/3rd Citadel Scouts, serving as a troop leader. In 2015 she served for 6 months in D'hɑlbrisir as part of the Kouralian stabilisation forces.

Elena has been a supporter of the importance of writing in society, and is a patron of a number of charities and organisations which support literacy initiatives and promote authorship - both fictional and factual - as a career or an activity. Despite multiple tests she is not thaumically attuned. Since mid-2017 she has been in a relationship with the Malgravean scientist, Emily Lowwe.

Early Life and Education

Elena was born in Arbareth in the Ilenan Solar Empire on the 14th of July 1991 during the exile of the Kouralian Monarchy from 1963 to 2001. During this time she was primarily tutored/taught at a privately-run establishment known as the Kouralian Exile School of Primary Learning, set up by the Crown-in-Exile for the scions of exiled Noble families. Most of those who attended the school at that time came back together at the Galthyc Institute and formed the membership what would become known as the Redwynd Row Social Club.

In early 2000, the Royal Family made preparations to return to Kouralia, and so Elena first returned to their homeland as it was wracked by war in the first year of the new Millennium. This combined with the violent exile of the monarchy while she was a child had a great effect on her, and reinforced her strongly-held belief that the monarch of a country can only act as its servant, not its master, and that they serve rightly at the pleasure of the people.

While at the ** School, she participated in the school's cadet force activities, run by the school detachment of the Junior Division of the North Chavasse Officer Training Regiment.

Elena's full title is Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess of the Blood and Lay-Justiciar, the Captain Sir Elena Atalanta Eunomya Campbell, Grand Duchess of Chieti and Viscountess Pentyarycs, Great Master and Principal Knight of the Emerald Hall, Knight of the Citadel and of the Realm, Castellan of Selinunte, Warden of the Flaming Chalice, and Protector of Ascension, but informally she is typically known as Princess Elena. As is common in Kouralia, the surname 'Campbell' is used by members of the Royal Family, however when attempting to superficially conceal her identity a combination of her first name and (or) her first middle name and her last middle name is used. For example, she is officially addressed as 'Captain Eunomya' in the Kouralian military.
