Marshal Emmanuele Giovanni Messe (15 December 1889 - 21 February 2001) was a prominent Archadian military officer in the Kingdom of Archadia-Archedes's Regio Imperiale Esercito. He served during the First Europan War, the Second Europan War and later on in the War of Lorican Aggression. He was captured in 1943 but willingly defected to the Allied cause and found himself becoming the Chief of Staff of the Archadian Co-Belligerent Army until 1968.

Considered by many to be the best Archadian general of the war, he is known for his aggressive demeanour in the field but unlike his Imperial counterparts, Emmanuele never stooped to the amount of cruelty as his Imperial counterparts had. He is also known to be the closest friend of fellow Archadian Marshal Victor Sazabio, who Messe vouched for whenever Sazabio was tried. He was captured in 1943 while on the way to an Imperial barracks by Allied Commandos, which he had orchestraded in order to defect to the Allies after being disillusioned in the war effort. He was later assigned by Marshal Enrico Badoglio to lead the Archadian Co-Belligerent Forces as its Chief of Staff.

Following the war, Messe established the headquarters of the Archadian Belligerent Forces at Hamilton, Ontaria in Rubrum. Here, he was active in training Archadian refugees and immigrants who fled the ruling Fascist government. He was joined by his friend, Sazabio and the duo were responsible for the Archadian Government-in-exile's efforts during the War of Lorican Aggression. Sazabio led the Archadian forces in the Asianna theatre thereafter.

During the Sanguinoso Colpo, Messe's grandson, the future Prime Minister Giovanni Messe led the Archadian Nationalists in a bid to topple the Fascist government. His grandfather lended his voice to Archadian soldiers to lay down their arms and join the fight against Fascism. The revolution succeeded and Archadia began a period of transition to democracy. Messe and Sazabio returned home to their country where they lived for the rest of their lives in retirement.
