Geonju (Classic Zhenian: 建州, Modern Zhenian: 건주), formally the City of Geonju (Classic Zhenian: 建州市, Modern Zhenian: 건주시), is the provincial capital and most populous city of Zhenia's Donggwang Province. As the seventh-most populous city in the nation, it is the most populous and largest city that is a part of a province-level area and not its own metropolitan municipality.
