The 42nd Federal Parliament was elected at the 2015 Federal Election. On 26 August, 2015 the President of Thermodolia Andrew Dolia re-appointed Eric Sægôth to the position of Prime Minister. Sægôth was re-elected as Prime Minister on 26 August, 2015.
