James Gwyn Rainford (17 May 1922) is a retired Erebonian officer and engineer who served during the Second Europan War. As a military man, he served in the Erebonian Special Air Service and lended his expertise to the Special Operations Executive in 1940, where he served with the famous Torch Company.
Rainford is also the founder of Rainford Group, which would later be Erebonia's leading manufacturer in small arms and defence systems by the 1960s. He retired from military service in 1976 with the rank of Major but continued to run his company until his retirement in 1997, passing the ownership to his daughter, Irina Rainford.
He now lives quietly in retirement in Heimdallr.
