John XIV Anicius (Faustus Anicius Gallus Iohannes Theophylactus Alexius; 8 June 1878 – 9 June 1937) was Latin Emperor.

John was the eldest son of Prince Michael of Latium and Princess Eusbia Byzenne. He was not expected to be in line to the Latin throne at birth, due to having two uncles and a cousin ahead of him. However, he became his cousin's heir following the attainder of his cousin Lucia of Alba after her elopement to Robert, Crown Prince of Ghant. John took up a military career after turning 16. In 1898, he married Princess Alexandra of Ghant; they had 6 children, of which 5 survived to adulthood, including future emperor Constantine XIX Anicius. John had a storied military, political and court career before succeeding to the Latin throne.
