L'Isola Grande

L’Isola Grande is a large island that lies at the eastern mouth of the Putin Strait. The island belongs to ViZion, a country that borders the strait along with four other nations. The island is a key gateway to the strait, which connects the two continents of Teudallum and Lorecia in Astyria. The island’s strategic position makes it a valuable asset for ViZion’s military and economic interests.

The island’s name, which means “The Grand Isle” in Italian, was given by the ViZionarian colonizers who settled there in the 3th century BC. They were attracted by the island’s natural beauty and diversity, which include beaches, forests, and historical monuments. The island is also home to Kirkland, one of the most important economic centers in Astyria.

It is also a primary landing point for the submarine communications cables in Astyria, connecting several continents within Astyria, as well as globally.
