The following is a detailed list of all colleges and universities in the Empire Of Makko Oko.
Public Colleges & Universities
Since the formation of the Empire, public institutions of higher education have been non-existent. Prior to the Civil Transition War, the below list of institutions were publicly-owned and run by the government:
- Joria City University (JCU) - The only public college located in the former capital of Joria, Makko Oko, it was originally managed by the City Council of Joria and was considered a city government institution. When the Civil Transition War began, classes were all halted and refunds were given out by order of the city council. That led to the dissolution of JCU due to bankruptcy in January of 2019.
